Seated Cable Row

Target Area: Upper Body

Equipment: Close Grip Handle Attachment, Seated Cable Row Machine 

  1. Start in a seated position with your knees slightly bent and your arms fully extended reaching out towards the attachment.
  2. Drive your feet into the footplates and bring your torso into an upright, seated position by engaging your back muscles.
  3. Keeping tension through your back and draw your shoulder blades backwards and downwards. Ensure you keep your arms in a lengthened position.
  4. Leaning back slightly, row the bar in towards your waistline and maintain tension through your core and torso. Perform for the number of prescribed repetitions.

Increase

Increase the weight on the machine or number of repetitions

Decrease

Decrease the weight on the machine or number of repetitions.
