Box Jump

Target area: Lower Body 

Equipment: Box

  1. Stand in front of the box with your feet shoulder width apart. Bend into a quarter squat and swing your arms back, then swing them forward and explode up off the ground. Land on the box as softly as possible and stand up tall.
  2. Step back to the starting position. This is one repetition.

INTENSITY

Increase

Increase the height of the box or platform you are jumping onto. To increase the intensity, try adding a burpee to the movement.

Decrease

Decrease the height of the box used.
