Real talk: You wouldn't even know these desserts were healthy if we didn't tell you. Super easy to whip up and made using limited but healthy ingredients, these yummy desserts will get you through any sugar cravings and won’t derail your progress!
So, skip the low-cal ice cream and tuck into these delish desserts instead:
Chocolate Protein Mousse
Serves 3

Calories: 383 | Protein: 1.1g | Fat: 24.3g | Carbs: 29.6g | Fibre: 7.6g | Sugars: 18.4g
INGREDIENTS:
- 100g Lady Finger Banana
- 300g Avocado
- 2 tbs Cacao Powder
- 2 tbs Honey
- 30g Chocolate Protein Powder
METHOD:
- Place all ingredients in a food processor, blender or thermomix and blend until it forms a thick creamy mousse.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Sprinkle some extra cacao powder on top and voila!
Top Tip: Replace honey with maple syrup to make this recipe vegan!
Strawberry Nicecream
Serves 4

INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cups (250g) frozen strawberries, chopped
- 2 medium (180g) frozen banana, chopped
- 1 can (400mL) light coconut milk
- 2 scoops (60g) protein powder
METHOD:
- Chop frozen banana and strawberry (if not already chopped). Place in a food processor and process until the fruit starts to break up.
- Whilst food processor is running, slowly pour in coconut milk.
- Stop to add in protein powder and scrap down the sides.
- Process again for a few minutes until smooth.
- Pour into a loaf tin and freeze for a few hours or overnight.
Top Tip: Use a plant-based protein powder for vegan!
Rocky Road Popcorn Bites
Serves 8

Calories: 82.9 | Protein: <1g | Fat: 7g | Carbs: 3.7g | Fibre: 1.7g | Sugars: 1g
INGREDIENTS:
- 3 tbls (45mL) coconut oil, softened
- 3 tbls (45mL) sugar-free maple syrup
- 1/3 cup (20g) cacao powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 cup (10g) popcorn
- 2 tbls (20g) low sugar craisins
- 2 tbls (12g) desiccated coconut
METHOD:
- Line a small baking tray or large plate with baking paper.
- Melt coconut oil in a bowl until softened (don’t over heat).
- Add maple syrup, salt and cacao powder to the coconut oil and whisk until well combined.
- Mix through craisins and coconut. Gently fold through popcorn.
- Spoon mixture into 8 mounds on baking paper. Refrigerate for 3+ hours until set.
Top Tip: Store in the fridge in an airtight container!
