Cable Woodchop

Target Area: Core

Equipment: Cable Handle Attachment, Cable Machine 

  1. Position the cable pulley and cable handle attachment to your chest height.
  2. With your feet positioned shoulder width apart, reach across and grab the handle with both hands. Your arms should be fully extended and straight.
  3. In one motion, pull the handle across the front of your body to your side while rotating your core and maintaining your stance and straight arms.
  4. Return to the neutral position in a slow and controlled manner. This is one repetition.

Increase the weight on the machine or number of repetitions.

Decrease the weight on the machine or number of repetitions
