Ingredients
- Rolled Oats (180g)
- 2 tbs Chia Seeds (10g)
- 2 cups Almond Milk (Unsweetened) (250ml)
- 1/2 cup Water (125ml)
- 1 tsp Cinnamon (2.5g)
- 1/4 tsp Dried Ginger (0.5g)
- 1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg (0.5g)
- 1 tsp Baking Powder (4g)
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract (1g)
- 1/2 tsp Orange Zest (40ml)
- Orange Juice (24g)
- 2x Dates (35g)
- 1/4 cup Almonds (25g)
- Desiccated Coconut (188.g)
- Apple (Red) (140g)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 180°C fan-forced.
2. Prepare the chia by mixing the chia seeds and water and setting aside until it thickens.
3. Chop the dates, almonds and apple.
4. In a separate bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients.
5. Add the wet ingredients and finally the fruit.
6. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and bake for 45-60 minutes.
7. Cover for the last 20 minutes so it doesn’t burn.
8. Serve with Greek or coconut yoghurt and fresh berries.
